Job description:
Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (http://www.drake.edu/cphs/) invites applications for a one-year part-time (0.5 FTE, twelve month) non tenure-track faculty at the rank of Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor in the Clinical Sciences department. The position is available May 2012. Primary responsibilities include provision of patient care services and student educational experiences at both the introductory and advanced pharmacy practice levels. The practice site is Iowa Lutheran Hospital in affiliation with the Penn Avenue Internal Medical physician practice in Des Moines.

This is a 1-year position, with the possibility of renewal. Review of applicants will begin immediately, and continue until the position has been filled. Salary is competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience. Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Candidates must have a Pharm.D. degree, postgraduate residency training or equivalent practice experience preferred. Specialty residency training in acute care and internal medicine is highly desirable. Eligibility for licensure in Iowa is required.
