Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (http://www.drake.edu/cphs/) invites applications for a full time twelve-month non tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Clinical Sciences department. Primary responsibilities include provision of patient care services and student educational experiences at both the introductory and advanced pharmacy practice levels. The practice site is a community pharmacy practice setting in the Des Moines metropolitan area. Didactic teaching, scholarship, service, and advising are expected commensurate with a regular full time appointment.

Education, training, experience:

The position is available June 1, 2012. Candidates must have a Pharm.D., with Community Practice, Ambulatory Care, or Primary Care experience preferred. Residency training and experience in immunizations, diabetes care, and/or Medication Therapy Management are highly desirable. Eligibility for licensure in Iowa is required.
